5V Crimp Metal Panels - 26 Gauge Galvalume - Rolled Metal for Roof, Walls, Wainscot and More!

5V CRIMP PANELS

5V Crimp is a very traditional roof style in Florida and is commonly used for residential roofs and agricultural buildings, but will work well for light commercial applications as well.  Double inverted-V shape ribs near the panel edges creates the classic look, but also conceals an anti-siphoning channel that improved leak resistance in extreme wind and rain, making them a great choice where durability can be tested by the weather. It utilizes exposed fasteners, has a 24” coverage with 3/8” high ribs. Installation requires a solid substrate roof deck.

GALVALUME: WHAT IS IT?

Galvalume is 55% Al-Zn (aluminum – zinc) coated sheet steel that is ideally suited for most types of roofing applications. An estimated 40 billion square feet of Galvalume now covers buildings in all kinds of climates and environments throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as Europe, Asia and Australia. Galvalume is an ideal material for roofing because of its extraordinary outdoor corrosion resistance and resulting long life. It is extremely popular due to its versatility, ease of use, aesthetics and long-term performance.

Our standing seam panel utilizes a clip system to attach to a solid substrate, creating a clean look and reducing the opportunity for leakage.  This standing seam panel has an extra tall rib height of 1 ¾” that creates a high-end appearance.
